RSF Drone Strike Hits Sudan Hospital, Leaves Three Dead, Seven Injured
The group stated that “targeting health facilities constitutes a blatant violation of international laws that prohibit attacks on medical centers and health workers,” adding that such attacks exacerbate civilian suffering and restrict access to medical care. It held RSF leadership “fully responsible” for the assault.
The Rapid Support Forces did not immediately respond to the report. Sudanese authorities and human rights groups have repeatedly accused the RSF of targeting civilian infrastructure, though the paramilitary organization maintains that it “works to protect civilians.”
Earlier this month, the World Health Organization warned that Sudan’s health system is under renewed threat after three facilities in South Kordofan were targeted in early February.
Heavy clashes have engulfed the three Kordofan states—North, West, and South—since October 2025 as fighting continues between the Sudanese army and the RSF. The conflict, which began in April 2023 over disputes surrounding force integration, has sparked one of the world’s worst hunger crises, killed tens of thousands, and displaced roughly 13 million people.
